What should I expect?
At Everthine, every bride who walks through our door is important, special, and deserves our undivided attention. This is why we require each bride to have her own private appointment. We want to spend enough time getting to know our brides, understanding their style, and creating their vision for the most important day of their life. Our dedicated bridal stylists go above and beyond to ensure an experience that will be remembered forever. Please click here to make an appointment!
When should I begin dress shopping?
We suggest that you begin shopping for your dress at least 6-9 months before your wedding. It will take anywhere from 4 – 6 months for your gown to arrive. We suggest a timeline of 3 months for alterations leading up to your wedding date. Some designers will accommodate tight deadlines, but it’s always best to play it safe.
Bridal shops carry a curated selection of dresses from each of their designers collection. During a trunk show, the entire collection is in store and a discount is granted. If you love a specific designer, a trunk show is a perfect time to book your appointment! However, make sure to do so in advance. Trunk shows book up fast!
It’s helpful to bring a strapless bra, spanx, and some fabulous shoes to your appointment. You want to envision yourself on your wedding day, so these items play a key role!
Who to Bring
As fun as it sounds to bring all of your closest friends and family to come dress shopping with you, it can easily make finding “the one” more difficult. Bring the people who know you best and whose opinions you value most. They are the ones who know your personal style best. Your dress should reflect YOU, not them. When this one loves it and that one hates it, you can easily lose sight of YOUR vision. We recommend bringing 1-2 guests along with you. Small and sweet. However, if you wish to bring more, please keep it to a 4 person max as space is limited.
Once you’ve found your gown, we will take your measurements and order your dress as close to your current size as possible. Our designers make their dresses in standard sizing with a standard size chart. We will order the size that is closest to your measurements as possible. Since we are all shaped differently, alterations are always needed!
Do you provide in-house alterations?
We do not provide in-house alterations, but have two fabulous tailors we recommend to all of our brides. We also do not have any required alteration packages allowing for you to ONLY pay for what you need done to your dress!
We kindly ask that you leave the little tikes at home. As you already know, a shop full of white dresses and delicate trinkets make it a dangerous place for the kiddos!
